Blessed To Have My Childhood Friend As My Fiance!

Dear Rahul,

We have been friends for nearly 20 years now, and who would have thought that we, who were best of friends once, would end up becoming lovers. When you look at me with those smiling eyes, I know you feel the same sweet, tingling warmth in your heart that I do. That one smile of yours is enough to make my day.

You hug me as if you want to protect me from all the evils in this world, you look at me as if I am the most beautiful woman on this planet, you look after my family as if they are your own… anyone would have fallen for you! But you chose me instead, and for that I will always be grateful to God.

I remember as kids, you used to irritate the hell out of me with your silly pranks. As we grew up together, I don’t know when, where, or how those deep and special feelings developed within me for you; but they did.

I knew you were the perfect partner for me, but I was worried whether you felt the same way about me. I was on cloud nine when you declared your affection and I still amazed!

I love the long walks and the talks we have, but isn’t it funny how we are absolutely comfortable with each others' silence too? I hope this feeling lasts forever (I, somehow know it will!) and doesn’t wear down with time. I will always be with you no matter what.
