Business Marketing Cover Letter

I wanted to go into marketing after college, and was able to land a couple of internships beforehand as well. I think this greatly helped me in landing a job, but the effective cover letter was key in getting noticed. Here is my cover letter.

Dear Mr. Johnson,

I recently viewed the available Marketing Assistant position on your website and am submitting my resume in consideration for this position.

As a recent college graduate with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business Marketing, I have completed two years of Marketing internships. I created new promotional campaigns for national products, maintained successful relationships with previous clients, and added 30 new clients to our companies buying list.
