Condolence or Sympathy Gift Baskets - Baskets That Make Memories
Did you know that friends give friends Condolence or Sympathy Gift Baskets? Well, it never occurred to me until I read about Jonathan's experience. He titles it... "The Basket I'll Never Forget" Losing a loved one is such a heart breaking and difficult affair. When I lost my best friend, Robbie, I was listless and despondent. Losing a loved one is such a heart breaking and difficult affair. When I lost my best friend, Robbie, I was listless and despondent. That particular day I was holed up in my room after a long funeral service, reminiscing about talks that I could no longer have. His youth is what shocked every one because we were both seventeen, and our birthdays were three days apart. We spent our last summer conversing about the high school we'd attend and how wonderful our eighteenth birthdays would be together. His favorite color was green, and I loved blue. We talked about the ribbons and color themes, who'd we invite, but all that was gone now... or so I thought. I was crying in my room, and his younger sister, Lisa, knocked on my bedroom door with a gift basket. She sat it beside me without a word. The simple gift basket was finely made and wrapped almost like a birthday present. What touched me most were the two bows atop the basket; they were green and blue. The small candies and chocolates were neatly placed in the basket, and I knew that everything would be okay. The basket reminded me that although Robbie had left this world, his memory and the memories we shared are still in tact. Moreover, there were people still here with me that loved and cared enough to reach out to me during my time of need. The End!Do you have a story about condolence or sympathy gift baskets?
