Customer Service Resume Cover Letter

When I graduated high school I did not want to go to college. I started off working retail but then switched to customer service. Below is a resume cover letter for a customer service position I recently applied to.

Dear Mr. Ted Boone,

I recently came across the job posting that you have on Craigslist for a Customer Service position. I was directed there by a colleague of yours by the name of Art Spencer.

I am very interested in the position as I have more than 4 years of experience in the customer service field. Also, I have excellent telephone etiquette as well as an abundant knowledge of Microsoft Office. Additionally, I can type an average of 90 words per minute with accuracy and can learn any operating system with ease. Finally, I am detail oriented, organized, and eager to provide outstanding customer service.

In closing, I am attaching my resume for you to review. You will find that I have experience in all aspects of a call center environment and would appreciate a chance to show you what I can offer.
