For my family after the loss of a grandfather.

When I was young my family lost one of our greatest leaders, the most kind, caring person we ever knew. Our great grandfather passed in the arms of family much, much too soon. Nothing before, or after, had ever been so painful. This is a condolence letter written to mom about him.

Mom,

Granddad's death was hard on all of us and I know that it will take time to cope, and to that end I will be here for you in your time of grief.

We , all of us, will try to be strong for you to get through this difficult time...which too shall pass.
