Free Letter of Recommendation Template. Recommendation letters are used to endorse someone for employment, scholarships, committee
appointments, advisory boards and the like through opinions about the person's character, skills, knowledge, and ability relative to the traits being sought.
Here's what you need to know to write a great recommendation letter - every time...in 3 EZ Steps.
Step 1 - First Paragraph. Tell Who You Are, but don't spend a lot of time talking about yourself, as the letter isn't about you. Then describe whom you are recommending and what you are recommending them for.
Step 2 - Second Paragraph 2. Give Specific Examples about the qualities of the person you’re writing about; work history, credentials, and career aspirations. Personal information is essential to writing an effective letter, so be sure to ask for it when you don’t already know it about the person.
Step 3 - Third Paragraph. Summarize Things Using Broad
Characterizations of the person you're recommending. Then, go for the gusto and
make your recommendation. Writing a recommendation letter for someone is a huge
responsibility. So, be prepared to do it
well and on time, or to not do it at all.
“I'd been unemployed for a few months.
Finding a job that I could turn into a career proved to be difficult.
So, I employed a few of my friends, classmates and coworkers to write a basic
letter or recommendation. What they wrote blew me away! If you're struggling to
write one for someone, hopefully this one will help.”

To Whom It May Concern:
It is my pleasure to recommend Ms. Tiesha Perry for employment with your organization. I have known Tiesha personally for over four years and professionally for two years during which time she worked as the office assistant at the H. T. Odum Center for Wetlands on the University of Florida campus. I have also observed Tiesha as a teaching assistant at Lake Forest Elementary.
Throughout the time I have known Tiesha, I have been consistently impressed with her positive attitude and work ethic. During her time as an office assistant at the Center for Wetlands, Tiesha was responsible for and worked diligently at a variety of tasks. She is very organized individual who works well independently. While volunteering with her class at Lake Forest Elementary, I was able to observe Tiesha in a classroom setting. Her organizational skills and attention to detail allowed her to develop a creative classroom exercise and successfully engage her students, despite pronounced differences in the student's mental and emotional development. Her structured and caring approach to teaching was very obvious following my experience viewing her as a teacher.
My personal and professional experiences with Tiesha lead me to recommend her for this position without reservation. Please let me know if you have need for additional information about this outstanding young woman.
