Good, But a Bit Impersonal

The actual letter doesn't need to start paragraphs with things like "Yes,..." or "In closing". Those markers make it feel like an essay rather than a letter. There are also a few assumptions like "I know you to be an emotionally strong person" that might not necessarily ring true for everyone. It could be a bit shorter, given that it's a form letter and doesn't need to describe all the contributions that deceased has made to the letter writer's personality.
