How a Sympathy Fruit Basket Brightened My Day

When my husband passed away late last year I was not sure how I would survive. Each day seemed to not have the same spirit as it once had, the other side of the bed was cold and I no longer had someone to talk to about my personal problems.
A service was held after the funeral where my family and friends could gather and support each other. At the service, I received many condolences from friends and family however one lady in particular brightened my day.
The lady dressed in a colorful scheme told me she was a friend of my late husband’s family. She proceeded to tell me all the wonderful things my husband did as a child and how she knew one day he would find his soul mate. She asked if I could go with her into another room. I said yes.
When entered the room I saw a large basket on the dresser. She picked it up and and gave it to me. It was filled with chocolate and strawberries, my two favorite things.
To make a long story short the mysterious lady and the Strawberries and Chocolate Basket brightened my day when I the most.
