Dear Lover,

Every morning when I wake up and you’re not there I feel this void deep down inside me. I cannot imagine even a second where you were not mine to have and to hold.

Before I met you I used to be the type of person who hated to cuddle and hated feeling as if I was being held down because I was dating someone. Now that I have you I don’t want you to leave me and I want you to cuddle with me until I fall asleep.

For once in my life growing old doesn’t seem so bad. As long as I have you by my side I feel as if I can conquer the word. I want to love you when you’re young and I want to love you while you’re old. I dread the day when we are no longer together.

I will always love you. I will love you and support when you are happy and I will love and support you when you are sad. Whatever you choose to do in life I will stand right along side you and help you along the way. If you ever need anything from me I will always be standing right there willing to help you along.

Right now I’m watching our daughter sleeping in her crib. I can’t help smiling when I see her little face. She’s such a perfect combination of the two of us. A symbol of the love we have for one each other.

When I see her it becomes extremely clear that you and I were meant for each other. I cannot wait until she’s older when we can take her places and share experiences with her.

When she’s all grown and we are done raising her I will be more than thrilled to travel the world with you. I want to see places and experience new things with you.

I want to try different foods, see beautiful landmarks and kiss you in the moonlight in several different countries. I know even then we will still be in love as much or more than we are now.

I promise to always love you. I promise to always hold you and be with you, even when I am mad at you or you’re mad at me.

I promise I won’t ever leave you. You are my home, my rock, my one and only love. I love you. I don’t know how else to put it.
