I Miss You, My Heart Beats for You

You are the love of my life. I lie awake thinking of you at night, wishing you were here beside me. I miss your touch and your kiss. I count the minutes till I will see your face again. Till I can jump into your arms and squeeze you tighter than I ever have before.

They say that distance makes the heart grow fonder, and now I know this to be true. You not being by my side makes me appreciate all that you do for me, all that you are to me. I hope you're thinking of me too, as I stare out the window at the full moon. Maybe you are looking out at the sky like I am now. It makes me feel just a bit closer to you knowing we can see the same stars.

Instead of feeling lonely and small in this world, I feel important, because you chose me. I look forward to our future together, and I am so excited to grow old with you, enjoying years and years of love and bliss.

I love you from the bottom of my heart and I am counting the seconds till I see you again.
