Inspirational Sympathy Gift Basket

About a week ago a friend of mine was killed in a motorcycle accident. The driver survived, but is in critical condition at the local hospital. I have never lost anyone I care about, so to find out almost 3 days later that she was killed almost destroyed me.

After I heard the news, I immediately called my boyfriend, who was at work and could not answer his cell. I left a distraught, and sobbing message for him to call me back, because Jessica was in an accident.

I'm sure he could tell that she was gone, just from listening to the message.

Later that day, after I returned from one of the longest days at work imaginable, my boyfriend stopped by with the most thoughtful gift basket ever. It was full of all the stuff Jessica loved, and only made me think of all the great times we had growing up together.
