Just Because I Love You

I'm writing this letter, though it's not your birthday. It's not Christmas and it's not Valentines day either. I didn't stay out too late last night, and the car is fine.

I'm writing this letter because I love you, and I want you to know that. When I wake up in the morning and see that you are there beside me I feel like something I have looked for a long time has come to me all on its own.

I'm the luckiest person in the world because I have you in my life. I want you to know that, because no matter what my love stays the same.

That's what I want you to know most of all, that my love is always there-- on the boring days where nothing happens I love you just as much as ever.

So, today may not be special because it's a holiday. It may not be a day set aside for writing love letters, but today is important because it's another day we have together.

I hope there are more days like this to come because today is a special day so long as we love each other. All my love, just because.
