My resigned letter to previous company

I resigned from up-country several years ago. The business I worked for is a service business, which I really liked. However, career advancement was limited, so I resigned after 4 years of service.

My resignation letter looked similar to the example below.

Please be informed that I am resigning from the position of General Manager. I will remain in service until last day of my employment on January 31, 2009.

From the first day to the last day with Dr.Glass Marketing I received a warm welcome and kind support.

It has also been my pleasure working with all management and staff, as every one of them work professionally and devote themselves to the company and their customers. Thank you indeed for the great experience and opportunities. It was truly my honor to have worked for them.

Finally, I will certainly be available, on demand, to assist the company in transitioning my knowledge to the new manager who will be in this position.
