Receiving a Notice to Debtor of Assignment of Debt will come as a surprise to many folks. They opened an account with XYZ company under
certain terms and may feel anxious learning that a new Creditor holds their account.
With this in mind, make sure to send this letter out as soon as the transfer of their account has been finalized.
The last thing you want to happen is for them to receive a statement with your company’s name on it prior to receiving this letter.
Also, make sure to provide a name and telephone number of the representative handling their account in case they have questions or concerns!
