Recommending Shayna White

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter to recommend Shayna White for admission into your Paramedic/Fire Technology program. I understand that this will lead into an internship with the local fire department that could result in Shayna being kept for a permanent job position. I have known her for 2 years, since she entered into the EMT program at the local community college where I assist with skill assessments.

Shayna has worked hard for the past 2 years to further her education. She passed her EMT class with a 3.9 GPA, and she passed her skill assessment with flying colors. She also did excellent in the Fire Science and Technology program offered at the college here. She has also been an active member of North Township Volunteer Fire Department for the 2 years since she moved here.

Shayna has excellent people skills and is very personable. She has empathy for her patients and I believe she would make an excellent Medic and Firefighter. She is a quick learner and a very hard worker and I can definitely see her advancing quickly within the ranks there.

I highly recommend Shayna White for the Paramedic/Fire Technology program and I believe she would make an excellent addition to your team as well as an excellent fire chief someday.
