Resignation From a Job I Loved

I was working for a local advertising company and I loved it. However, another company in the area contacted me personally and offered me a better position at a better pay rate. I was sad to leave the company but glad to be moving on to a better career path. Below is the resignation letter I turned in.

Dear Mrs. Rose;

I am writing to inform you that I am resigning from my position as Customer Service Representative with Rise and Shine Advertising. My last day of employment will be July 20th, 2010. I have been offered another employment opportunity in the area that will help me advance in my career.

My experience with Rise and Shine Advertising has been one of the best of my experience. The friendly staff and customers made my job a great place to go to every day. Thank you for all of the acknowledgment of my hard work and all of the encouragement.

If I am needed to help with the training of a new Customer Service Representative, please let me know. I would be happy to make the transition as easy as possible.
