Restuarant Manager Letter

This is the cover letter I used to find a restaurant manager position after 7 years of operating my own restaurant. It helped me get a job with a major chain restaurant at the General Manager level.
Dear Mr. James,
I am responding to your listing for the postion of restaurant manager. I have over twenty years of experience managing restuarants. My positions have ranged from a Management Trainee, to Assistant Manager, to General Manager, to Traning Manager, and finally as an owner/operator of a restuarant.
In my time running various types of restuarants I have been responsible for all facets of restaurant operations; from food cost control, to hiring and even construction of a restaurant.
I would like to bring my experience to your establisment. Along with my knowledge I also bring an ability to learn new techniques for accomplishing goals. I have a very strong work ethic that is essential in this industry and woul like to share that with you.
