So Far Away...My Love

My Love; It's difficult to sit here all alone. The house is empty and the very air I breath feels empty without you. Outside the window the sunset looks grey and lifeless and it's drab colours are taunting me.

I ache to be with you one more time, to speed cross the streams and seas..the miles blurring behind me as I race to you to feel your touch once again.

All that I once found solace in, everything that made my world so full seems so devoid of life without you. Each day I wait patiently to hear from you...for a message, a glimpse of who you are revealed behind the curtain that separates us.

Each day my face lightens up like sunset when I hear your voice, or see your message. My dream of love coming true becomes tangible.

As I say goodbye and walk away my heart sinks again. Until tomorrow, until next week, until next month when I shall see you again.

Sleep well my love, I shall meet you where distance doesn't matter...somewhere between the sighs of sleep in my dreams.
