Thank You For Interviewing Me For The Office of The Dean position

I am a student and was interviewing for a position at the University that provides a tuition waiver and a stipend. I have previous experience in University Housing, but from the opposite side as this position, so while I am knowledgeable on the subject this would be a new experience.

Dear Mr. Gee,

I greatly enjoyed meeting you on Monday, and would like to thank you for taking time out of your busy day to sit with me. I was excited to learn more about your office and the student position.

As I have former experience dealing with judicial matters in a university housing system I feel that I am not only qualified for the job, but eager to learn the other side.

I appreciate you allowing me to speak with the student who currently has the position as well. After speaking with the two of you I am confident in my abilities and feel that I would fit in nicely at the office.

I realize that you have a tough choice ahead of you and would like for you to know that I am available for any follow-up if you see fit. I hope to speak with you soon, and thank you again for your time.
