The Loss of Your Father

A few years back my best friend from High School's Father passed away. My Friend and I had lost contact over the years so I did not hear of his passing until well after the funeral was over. I felt soo bad inside that I missed this in my friends life that I wrote and mailed her the following letter.

Dear Lisa:
I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you in this sad, and lonely time. Send my love to your Mom and brother as well.

Your Dad truly was and is an amazing man and I can honestly say that my life is better and more blessed by having met such a wonderful and loving man. I have soo many wonderful memories of times with your Dad and your entire family. I always remember how when he knew I was coming to visit from college that he would go out and buy banana twinkies just to have on hand when I visited all of you!

May God hold your hand and heart during this time. Know that I am here for you and I love you all dearly. Call me anytime day and or night. I will always be here!

All my Love today and always,
Jennifer
