The Rest Of My Life

Baby, these last few months have been amazing. Nothing has ever seemed as right as us being together. Everyday just being with you makes me feel better about the direction that we’re heading in.

I know we haven’t been together for too long but the time when we weren’t together, God, I can’t even remember what that was like. Everything has changed now for the better, thanks to you.

I know that things won’t always be easy. We’ve already had our fights, but we’ll get through everything. I’m sure of this. If you love someone you always have to take the good with the bad. The good times do more than make up for the extremely few bad times.

The day we met is a day that I will never forget. Sure, it may not be the most romantic or promising beginning, but a beginning it was, and that is really all that matters.

When I saw you across the bonfire that night, I knew I had to meet you. It was the type of gut feeling that you don’t get too often but you just have to follow.

When you met my family, it felt like all the puzzle pieces were finally set. It felt like everything was finally right. You and my parents got along like you’ve known each other forever. That’s the moment I knew that this would never end.

The more I get to know you, the more I realize that we’re perfect for each other. Everything we have in common is too much to be just a coincidence. From our favorite movie (Almost Famous), to our favorite animal (orangutan), these things make us fit better than we already did.

I know you want to take things slow. I know I promised to go along with it. But, the second you’re ready to take it a step further you know I’ll be ready. I’ll wait for you however long it takes. If you want your career established before anything, you know I’ll gladly wait. I’ll sit it out. Because, you’re worth it.
