Honey,

I know sometimes our crazy lives get in the way of me and you. I know sometimes I am often hard to handle. I wanted you to know that I love you, and am so very thankful to have you in my life.

I thought for along time I would be alone, raising our oldest all by myself. I would cry myself to sleep at night for fear that I would never find the right man for me, and my son.

The day you started loving me was the day I knew that I would never be alone again, and that you would love our big boy as your own, and you have.

We have built a bigger family since, and I'm proud of it, and us. We are not a perfect unit, but damn, we're close.
