My Sweet José - you're the one true love of my life. You're my numero uno, my number one. You are the first thing I think of when I wake up in the morning, and you're the last thing I think of before I drift wearily off to sleep. The image of you is before me all day....

Being apart from you is so very, very hard. I would say that it's cruel, but I understand that where you are and what you are doing is important. I would say that it's harsh, but we both value the liberty of this great nation that you are overseas defending.

There are many who question America's role in the Middle East, but you and I both know that there are foreigners who are all too ready to take away the freedom that we have found here, in Estados Unidos. You are fighting to make a better world for our children.

I pray to God every day that He should watch over you, and you come home soon, and safely, to my waiting arms. Until then, know that my love follows you from momemnt to moment, even if we are sleeping and waking at opposite times.
